Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Vietnam Bezdetko Gennady Stepanovich with the presence of leaders of Departments and Agencies under the Ministry of Construction; Economic Counselor and staffs of the Russian Federation’s Embassy to Vietnam on October 26th.

Ambassador Bezdetko Gennady Stepanovich thanked Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi and leaders of units under the MoC for warmly welcome and highlighted the good cooperation between Vietnam and Russian Federation including cooperation in the fields of state management of the Ministry of Construction.
According to the Ambassador, the Russian Federation is always ready to cooperate and provide technical equipment, machinery, modern construction technology, advanced construction materials for the Vietnamese market and hopes to expand further cooperate with the MoC and units and construction enterprises of Vietnam in the coming time.
Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi congratulated Mr. Bezdetko Gennady Stepanovich on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Vietnam, and expressed his delight at the strong and extensive Vietnam – Russian Federation cooperation relationship.
Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi thanked Russian Federation Government for supporting the Vietnam MoC in effectively deploy and perform assigned roles, functions and tasks, especially in the housing, planning, architecture, urban, technical infrastructure sector.
On the basis of the good results achieved and the potential to expand the cooperation relationship between the two sides, Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi wished that the Government, Embassy and partners of the Russian Federation continually promoted cooperation activities, exchange experiences; supported the Ministry of Construction to perfect the mechanism and policies of the Construction industry as well as build, update and renew the system of construction regulations and standards to best meet Vietnam's practical requirements and ensure compliance with international practices.
Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi emphasized that “Ministry of Construction always encourages and creates favorable conditions for the Russian Federation partners to cooperate and invest in the fields of construction, perfecting institutions and policies, planning and architecture, urban, technical infrastructure, building materials, housing development applying Russian’s innovative technology; encourages businesses of two sides to strengthen cooperation in the field of consulting, design and construction of civil and industrial works with modern and environmentally friendly technology”.
Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi believed that Ambassador Bezdetko Gennady Stepanovich with many years of working experience in Vietnam would contribute to further strengthen the cooperation relationship between the Vietnamese MoC and Russian Embassy and partners in particular, between the Government of Vietnam and Government of Russian in general.
