The Institute of Construction Science and Technology cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction to organize the 16th Young Staff Science Conference on May 27th with the presence of Deputy Minister of Construction Le Quang Hung; leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction; experts and a large number of young staffs from many units inside and outside the construction industry.
Institute of Construction Science and Technology is one of the leading scientific and technological advances research and consulting agencies and has always paid attention to and invested in young staffs training and planning. In 2022, the Young Staff Science Conference received the attention and participation of a large number of young officials working at the Institutes and many units such as Military Technical Academy, University of Transport, Hanoi Architecture University, University of Mining - Geology, Quy Nhon University, Artelia Vietnam Co., Ltd... with articles in many fields of architecture, geotechnical, structural works, building materials ...
Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung spoke at the Conference
Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung praised efforts of the Institute of Construction Science and Technology and the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction in coordinating and organizing the Science Conference for young staffs this year as well as in previous years. He also emphasized that the Conference created a practical forum for young people to meet, exchange and introduce research results as well as apply technical advances in construction practice. Thereby, it contributed to promoting the creative research passion of the young staff in the Construction industry; helping them to constantly learn advancements in construction science and technology.
Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung desired that in the coming time, the Institute of Construction Science and Technology will continue to pay attention and coordinate with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Construction in maintaining and organizing the periodic conference, so that this event becomes one of the most important traditional and meaningful events of the Institute and the youth of the Construction industry.

At this year's conference, 15 reports were presented in 3 sub-committees in fields of Concrete and Building Materials; Structure and Construction Technology; Geotechnical and Geodetic works; Architecture, Technical Infrastructure and Environment; Climate Change and Sustainable Development; Construction Standards and Regulations; Construction inspection; Application of modern technology and informatics in construction.
