The PM has signed a Decision to recognize Ha Long in northern Quang Ninh Province as Grade-1 City
Ha Long City has a GDP per capita of US$3,718, 2.86 times higher than the nation’s. It contributed VND 19,445 billion to the State budget in 2011.
Ha Long Bay in Ha Long City was recognized as a World Heritage Site and earns the title as one of the New Seven Wonders of the world.
