Ministry of Construction cooperated with German Development Cooperation (GIZ) to organize a workshop on "Assessment the current situation and proposing policies in the Law on adjustment of urban management and development” on June 23^rd 2023. There were leaders of the Department of Construction, Department of Planning and Architecture of the Northern Midlands and Mountainous regions, Red River Delta, North Central Coast, managers, domestic and international experts at the workshop. Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van chaired the workshop.

On June 23^rd, 2023, at the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Tuong Van received and worked with Mr. Kim Jin Myeong - General Director of Department of International Economic Affairs, Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance.

The Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities (AMC) held a second workshop  on Social Housing with the theme - Planning, architecture and housing building technology suitable with affordability on June 16^th. Many representatives of professional associations, universities, enterprises inside and outside the construction industry, domestic and international experts attended the workshop.

On June 2nd, 2023, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Construction in collaboration with the World Bank held a conference to review the implementation of the Law on Water Supply and Drainage and propose policies in the Law on Water Supply and Drainage. Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Tuong Van and Mr. Christophe Lemiere - Acting Director of World Bank project management in Vietnam co-chaired the conference.

The Department of Technical Infrastructure (DTI) of the Ministry of Construction, in collaboration with the German Development Agency (GIZ), the World Resources Institute, and HealthBridge, held the Lauching Ceremony “Technical guidelines for cycling infrastructure design in urban areas” on May 29 in Hanoi. Mr. Khuat Viet Hung - Vice Chairman in charge of National Traffic Safety Committee; leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction; representatives of localities, domestic and international organizations attended the ceremony.

From May 14 to 20, 2023, the delegation of the Ministry of Construction led by Mr. Tran Huu Ha - Director of the Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities (Academy/AMC), accompanied with representatives of units under MoC; Department of Construction of Thua Thien Hue Province and the Academy of Managers for Construction and Cities, had a program to learn and share experiences in Korea about smart cities and construction technology.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Construction, the Embassy of the United Kingdom to Vietnam and the Embassy of the Netherlands to Vietnam, on May 19^th, CIC Consulting and Technology Joint Stock Company cooperated with Carbon Re Company and STX Group Company held a seminar " Industrial (cement and steel) decarbonisation solutions in Vietnam”. Representatives of leaders of the Ministry of Construction; representatives of the Embassy of the United Kingdom and the Netherlands; domestic and international experts, businesses operating in the field of construction, building materials, consulting and design attended the seminar.

The opening ceremony of the Vietbuild Da Nang International Exhibition was jointly organized on May 10 by the Centre of Information (under the Ministry of Construction), Vietbuild Construction International Exhibition Organisation Corp and Da Nang Trade Promotion Centre with the theme "Construction - Building Materials - Real Estate and Interior and Exterior Decoration". Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh - Head of the Steering Committee for International Exhibition VIETBUILD; Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Da Nang City Nguyen Thi Anh Thi; Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee Le Quang Nam; representatives of ministries, central branches, associations, specialized associations, representatives of localities and businesses attended the opening ceremony. 

Within the framework of the visit of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and high-ranking delegation of the National Assembly of Vietnam to Argentina, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi had a meeting and worked with the Argentina Minister of Territorial Development and Habitat Maggiotti.

During the visit of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and high-ranking Vietnamese delegation to Cuba, Minister of Construction Nguyen Thanh Nghi and Cuban First Deputy Minister of Construction Angel Vilaragot Montes de Oca visited and worked at the Sanvig joint venture in Santa Cruz.

The 4^th Congress of the Vietnam - Slovakia Friendship Association (under the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations) term 2023-2028 took place in Hanoi on April 15^th.
