Bac Ninh City recognized as Grade-II City

The PM has signed a Decision recognizing Bac Ninh in northern Bac Ninh Province as Grade-II City.

Bac Ninh City, around 30 km from Ha Noi, plays a crucial role in the industrialization and modernization cause of the province and the northern region.
The city has strived to mobilize all resources and create a favorable investment environment to draw more investment in its industrial parks.
The city’s average economic growth rate was 13.3% in 2011-2013. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita in 2013 recorded a 1.87 time rise over the nation’s.
The city expects to become a Municipality by 2030.
