Infrastructure development project for Central Highlands approved

The Prime Minister has approved the portfolio of a project on "Productive Rural Infrastructure Development in the Central Highland provinces” valued at $87,580,000 sourced from the Asia Development Bank (ADB) loan.

The Project will be carried out in five years in five Central Highlands Provinces of Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Kon Tum, by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

In recent years, the Central Highlands has mobilized a large amount of investment for infrastructure construction.

The region is currently producing various agricultural products in high quantity with high economic value and competitive advantage, such as coffee, rubber, tea, pepper, cotton, medicinal materials, fruits and pulp.
