The PM has ratified an overall plan on the setting up of A Dot Border-Gate Economic Zone in Thua Thien Hue Province till 2030.
The border-gate economic zone will be built on an area of 10,184 ha in the communes of A Dot, Huong Lam and A Roang.
It will promote activities in the fields of commerce, service, tourism, industry, urbanization, aquaculture and forestry.
The zone is expected to be home to 20,000 people by 2020 and 27,000 by 2030.
